Dear All,

To shield monitors from stray fields, you can build a (large enough) metal
box and put the monitor inside. The box will be heavy and costly for sure.
But in places not very close to the magnet, you don't need the whole box.
Rather, if you have a metal strip (width ~ 10-12") and bend it to form a
"gate" -like structure (length > screen frame length; and height > frame
height), and put this "gate" over the monitor top/front, it works pretty
well. It also solves the heat ventilation problem. In fact, we have a few
boxes in the lab and we had to install fans on them.

Best Regards,

Jiejun
