One of our research groups has made pentafluorophenylpyridineamine. The
F19 NMR has 5 peaks in a 1:2:2:2:2 ratio. the 4 2's are triplets. Based
on coupling constants I believe they have some starting material present.
Could the pyridine electron cloud effect the chemical shifts of the orthro
F19 on the phenyl group? And information about F19 nmr, like F-F coupling
constants would help me out.
Thanks in advance,
Chuck
