Hello.

We are presently in the process of acquiring a new liquids
instrument (300 MHz). One of the candidates is a JEOL Eclipse.
We currently have one here and have had some problems with it
over the years with the instrument freezing up and needing to be
rebooted many times a day. JEOL assures has that we are the
only ones who have had such a serious problem. What I am
interested in is some feedback from people who are using (or
have used) a JEOL Eclipse of Eclipse+ in a high-throughput
situation (i.e. where the time is used in, say, 15 minute
blocks). Has the instrument performed reliably with many users
without problems, either hardware or software?

I am interested in receiving positive as well as negative
assessments. If you are generally quite happy with the
reliability, I would like to hear that, too!

Thanks to all in advance,
Fred Morin
