Hi Bill,
Based on what you've measured and the picture you sent, I tend to agree with
your conclusion that both boards are messed up. I suppose it's not
impossible that there's a short somewhere--if I wanted to be thorough I
might consider disconnecting those two cables from the PSD board and powering
up the rack again--I suspect there's not a short but just in case--if things
go back to normal with those cables disconnected then I might look closer
at the cables. I suspect it's going to be a power supply issue though.
Since both boards that have failed are in the AQS rack you might check the
fans in that rack as well just in case--if things start to overheat they
can start to fail and the last thing you want is to fry a bunch of boards due
to insufficient cooling.
