I am formerly a Varian user. Since our conversion to Bruker several years
ago, what I feel most helpless is the "Plot" function in TopSpin.
Particularly about the Y scaling. The default is to adjust Y scale to
the largest peak in each of the multiple spectra when you load a Portfolio
from a multiplet display mode. All the quantitation info you wish to
display is lost. Last week I changed the spectral display mode to
absolute scale, and somehow miraculously achieved what I wanted. However,
I struggled for several hours today trying to reproduce it, to no avail.
Basically when I opened +/layouts.multdisp/1D_2.xwp, each of the two spectra
is already y-scaled to their respective largest peak. I went into each
spectra (1D automation actions), clicked don't change y-scale, and
clicked "Apply Now". But nothing changed. I have already displaying
Y in absolute scale. I am at a loss how to securely maintain quantitation
information in my plot. Can someone help?
