Hi Karel,
I fill once or twice a week but I've let mine go 9 or 10 days while on
vacation. The lowest I've filled has been around 3 kg and it was fine (the
light was still blue before filling). During Covid, our lab was shut down
and the dewar went completely dry. I failed to follow the procedure of
filling it half full and letting it sit overnight before topping off and
this resulted in an ice blockage. We currently have a nitrogen shortage in
the San Francisco Bay Area so I've been filling twice a week if I have the
nitrogen available. Otherwise I would fill once a week, normally every 7-8
days.
