Hi,
did you check whether the Great60 PFG amp maybe permanently outputs some DC
current? You should see this by observing a high-resolution spectrum (say,
lineshape sample or the like) with the PFG cable connected versus disconnected
(and amplifier online) - if the lineshape gets bad by connecting the PFG amp
then it may have a permanent DC offset and may require fixing.
I guess you checked for proper water flow going through the probe, yes? (maybe
introduce a flow meter or plug the "in" port of the water chiller and have the
tube coming from the probe pour the water directly back into the reservoir for
you to see)
