I do not believe it’s safe to allow our students to bring thumb drives
to my NMR PCs. I am using IconNMR’s archiving function to send
the data to separate PCs from which our students can access their data.
I also have to use MS Onedrive, but for a different reason: our NMRs are in
two different buildings and our IT department’s firewall does not
allow computers in one building to see PCs in the other. That’s where
I’m using MS Onedrive to synchronize the data between the servers.
Unfortunately, this sometimes takes several hours…
Best Regards,
Jürgen

Subject: [External Email] Re: [AMMRL] Data sharing
For what it's worth, I set up my data directory in a OneDrive folder before,
however experiments would randomly stop. I do not recall the errors, it was
an early version of Topspin 4, but I just found it more robust to save data
locally and then transfer to the OneDrive location upon completion.
Just my 2 cents
