AMMRL: Questions about Helium Recapturing Units

Hello Everyone,

We are in the process of writing a grant for a helium recapturing unit.
As part of the process, the exact details (cost, installation, and maintenance,
etc.) need to be included in the grant. We have a 600MHz Agilent and a
Bruker 400 Avance III.

My initial questions were the following:

1. Has anyone installed a system on the third floor of a building? (including the compressor)

2. A floor space of around 150 sq feet (with tall ceilings) sits in between the two NMR magnets,
is that enough space to install a complete helium recovery system?

3. Otherwise, the compressor could possibly sit on the first floor (or the roof of the third floor)?

Thank you in advance for the answers to the questions. I have watched the videos offered by Eric
Paulson along with the comprehensive comparison of helium recovery units by IVAN NMR for context.
Most systems seems to be on the ground floor or basement to dampen vibrations and noise.

Sincerely,

Mike
