AMMRL: non-ground floor magnets.

We are reviewing the possibility of placing an NMR spectrometer on a floor other than basement or ground level. For those of you that are operating on a floor above the ground level floor, are there special precautions to be mindful of? What field spectrometer are you operating?

Obviously load bearing capability of the structure is critical. I expect that vibrations still need to be managed reasonably well. I also expect that some thought goes into what plumbing and ductwork are directly below your instrument. Are there other interesting challenges to operating on a floor above ground level?
