Sorry - I should've added: I am using a two channel Varian-400 with a 4-nucleus probe (no gradients or special hardware like waveform generators) and the sample has 13C and 15N at natural abundance.

Hello AMMRL

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on measuring long-range H-C and H-N coupling constants? Specifically, I'm looking to measure three bond H-C and H-N coupling constants, H to quaternary carbon and H to amide nitrogen (the same H atom).

I have a limited amount of sample that isn't all that stable in solution so I can't afford to speculate.

Thank-you,
Craig.
