Dear All,
a while ago I posted a question and then a summary on repair option
for an ancient Tektronix scope. Several people were interested what I
found out. In my summary I posted that I had chosen Dan Shores'
services in OR (www.tekscopeservice.com).

Well, I just got my scope back and am impressed with the work he did.
It never looked so good before and it works perfectly, actually
better, than when I first got it. Aside from the triggering problem
that I sent it in for, he fixed a whole bunch of other things
(exchanged worn potis etc.) and added a mesh to the screen which
reduces glare and makes it much easier to read. The price was very
reasonable, so if anyone needs scope repair, I would surely recommend
Tek Scope Service.
