Greetings,
I'm looking for a little advice on magnet safety. I have a user
coming in who has a pacemaker. That person will not be running NMRs
themselves, but I was concerned about the fields from the magnet.
The magnets are on one floor, but there are labs above and below it
that the user may be working in. I don't have the magnet manuals,
does anyone know the safe distance from the magnet for pacemakers?
We have two unshielded 300s, one Varian R2D2 and one Oxford. Will
summarize, thanks.
