a GC question

Dear All,

this is not an NMR question. I hope you may be able to help me
anyway. I have an ancient GC with questionable columns. The
instrument is so old that parts are no longer available. Since these
beasts are nearly indestructible, I was wondering whether any of you
had one of them sitting around on a shelf gathering dust. This is the
model:

GC 8700
Basic Gas Chromatograph
Carle Instruments, Inc.
TCD Detector

If you do, I would be interested in buying a column for it or even
the entire thing if it is working. Ideally, I need a column that
allows me to detect gases such as nitrogen. It seems that pretty much
any column will do, I don't need anything fancy, more or less a yes/
no it's coming out or not issue.

Thanks for your help.
Tanja
