Dear AMMRL colleagues,
Is there anyone having the experience in using the Doty solid-state
DSI-740 VT MAS probe?
We face to a problem when we try to run the NMR measurement at elevated
temperatures with this probe. The VT probe was working fine initially,
for example, at 200C. When we were to change the temperature, for
example, to 250C, the heater did not work immediately after the
parameter was set up. The probe temperature dropped down to RT although
it was indicated that the heater is still on. Thereafter, the heater
sometimes works, sometimes not. The situation is exactly the same, that
is, if we were to change the temperature, the heater may not work again.
Any suggestion will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
