Noise parallel to F1 axis in 2D -NOESY

Dear Friends

Recently I got a Bruker probe serviced for a broken gradient coil
assembly and after I put the probe back and shimmed it as much as I
could within the time constraints (0.55%/0.11% is 20/40), I had a user
repeat thier 1H-2D NOESY. The spectrum has, parallel to the F1 axis,
striated bands running for many peak positions. It is very different
from the t1-noise I have seen, so far. The noise resembles a
'cross-hatch' like pattern, something like this: //////////// .
Has any of you encountered this kind of a noise pattern and can you
throw some light on this ?

I am very grateful for your time and advice.

sincerely

rajan
