Dispensing deuterated solvents

Hi All,

We have traditionally used 10 mL septum vials for the chemists'
DMSO-d6, and they use a disposable 1 mL syringe to take what they need.
It'd be nice to get away from syringe use for SHE reasons, and this got me
thinking...

The idea is to use a bottle top dispenser (e.g., Dispensette by
BrandTech) and a larger bottle of solvent for this purpose. If it works
it'll have some added pluses inc. constant/adequate solvent height, and
possibly a cost saving.

Have you tried anything like this? As ever, I'm happy to post
reponses, dehumanised in the usual way.

Many thanks,
        Mike
