There are several routes to repair:

Tucker Electronics repairs Tektronix Analog scopes
but only if they were purchased from Tucker. $250
calibration fee + $120 evalutation fee + parts and time!

The initial inquiry with Tektronix service
only got me the words:"obsolete since '95", "we don't service
or advise." However, with Bob Silverman's suggestion I
discovered that Tektronix itself (1-800-833-9200)has a few parts left
and will even identify the numbers and availability for you
...and sell it! Input attenuator assemblies such as I needed
are about $250_at_

As a caveat, our electronics technician had tried last year to
fix a more common Tektronix scope and found that they did not
have the assembly he needed...for my 2465 and 2465A I lucked out.

So, great thanks to Bob Silverman of UCLA/Pharmacology who gets
the award for the winning approach to getting parts from
Tektronix, sent me one of the part numbers and actually FAXED
me pages from his service manual for the repair.

Other avenues such as
http://www.sphere.bc.ca/test/index.html
and other web-found Tektronix parts suppliers did not come up with
what I needed. There may be other isolated instrument fixers out
there but as long as Tektronix has parts this seems the way to go.

I expect to have our electronics technician install the
boards when they arrive next week....an apparently simple
procedure.

Thanks to all who responded confirming yet again that AMMRL
is a very fine tool for us NMR spinners.....
