Hi All,
A quick update about potential issues with deploying the 1D HOESY experiment
from my previous post:
1) Make sure you convert the parameter set to your specific instrument. Run
the 'paracon' command in TopSpin, select the parameter set from the user
list on the bottom, and click Execute.
2) Confirm that the band-selective 19F pulse is set up in prosol. Run 'edprosol'
in TopSpin, select 19F as the decouple nucleus, click the 'HR Shape Pulses' tab.
Pulse 3 ( bandsel. inv/refoc.) should be Q3.1000 with a pulse width of 1000 us
for 10 ppm bandwidth.
3) You have to set o2p to the chemical shift of the 19F you want to get NOEs
from and you should probably run a control experiment with o2p set >30 ppm
away from any 19F signals.
I added step by step instructions to the Box folder
(
https://cornell.box.com/v/ammrl-experiments )
but feel free to contact me directly if you run into any issues.
Ivan
