BASF is searching for a Lab Manager for one of its NMR labs in the Competence Center Analytics at the Ludwigshafen site in Germany. The lab performs NMR studies for the company’s research as well as operational divisions. It primarily serves applications in small molecule structure elucidation and quantification, partly in the GLP environment. The lab specializes in 31P-NMR, HPLC-NMR, benchtop NMR and NMR on metal-organic compounds. Instrumentation includes two benchtop spectrometers, a 500 MHz Bruker Prodigy Spectrometer, and a 600 MHz Bruker Cryo Avance neo Spectrometer. There is a close cooperation with the two other NMR labs within the Competence Center Analytics at Ludwigshafen, offering access to various spectrometers from 400 MHz to 700 Mhz.
