A faculty member here is looking at a benchtop NMR made by Nanalysis, the "NMReady-60e". I'm wondering if any of you has experience with this instrument, especially in an undergraduate lab setting. I don't know anything about reliability or repairability. Is there anything else on the market in the $40K range that we should be looking at? I think a 1H only instrument is best for us, since students have access to 400 MHz NMR by sample submission for other nuclei, with turnaround time of a few days.
