Dear all,

The AMMRL meeting will be held at 7pm on Monday night in the in the
Atlantic A room of the Ocean
Center. We will have three ca. 10 minute talks:

Mark ter Horst "A post-construction report on the new facility at UNC"
George Sukenick "Siting magnets 440 feet above the ground, architects,
.."
Bill Kearney - "What does an NMR facility manager do?"

There will be no overhead projector, so it's either PowerPoint or
semaphores for presenters. We will then break out for discussions on
the following topics (discussion leaders):

1. Good Lab Practice (GLP) and data archives (Bob Berno and Nick Pan)
2. User Training (George Furst and Herb Schwartz)
3. How many people does it take to run an NMR Facility? (Bill Kearney)
4. NMR Software (Walt Niemczura)
5. Co-authorship in a service facility (Perry Pellechia)
6. Long-term performance and maintenance issues for cryoprobes (Carlos
Amezcua and Martha Morton)
7. Facility design and construction (Marc terHorst and George Sukenick)

If one of you from the industrial sector could participate in the
GLP/data discussion it would be greatly appreciated. Likewise it would
be great if anyone feels moved to help Perry, Walt or me. Thanks to
all who have sent comments or volunteered to help. See you all in
Daytona!

Bill
