Entry Level NMR Spectroscopist
JOB CODE: HS/00-0429
The selected candidate will provide NMR spectroscopy support to medicinal
chemistry programs in an active discovery research environment.
Responsibilities for this entry-level position include daily management of
four Varian NMR spectrometers set up for continuous walkup usage. This
includes magnet cryogenics and the development and support of automated NMR
methods. Candidates will also be expected to use their knowledge of organic
chemistry to assist in solving structural elucidation problems of small
molecule drug substances using 1D and 2D NMR methods.
We seek an energetic and motivated individual with strong organizational,
interpersonal, and communication skills who possesses a B.S. or M.S. degree
in Chemistry with a minimum of 2 years' experience in NMR spectroscopy.
