SENIOR SCIENTIST/ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL SCIENTIST (NMR/LC-NMR Position) Our
Drug Safety and Metabolism, Toxicology and Bioanalysis Department has an
opportunity for a Senior Scientist/Associate Principal Scientist to manage a
NMR/LC-NMR lab. You will be responsible for the development of triple
resonance NMR methodology to identify protein ligand/drug binding sites and
characterization of recombinant proteins. You will also be responsible for
structural elucidation of metabolites from small drug molecules. This will
involve support work for pharmacokinetic and drug
metabolism/safety/toxicological studies, performing sample analysis and data
interpretation of same. To qualify, you will need a Ph.D. in Physical
Chemistry, Biological and Biophysical Chemistry, Structural Chemistry or
Biology and at least 2-5 years of NMR or LC-NMR experience relatd to drug
discovery or development. Research experience related to radioisotope
handling, metabolite profiling, skills in HPLC and operation of a NMR are
essential. Any candidate considered for this position must have proven oral
