AMMRL:
We have one DPX250, one ARX300, one DPX400 and one AMX500 here.
Currently we have a charge system for the 400 and 500. The maximum charge to a
research group is $3,000/year. They can use as much NMR time as they want. It is
free to use our 250 and 300.
Now we do not have money to cover the 250 and 300 and would like to start to
charge for the use of our 250 and 300 too. I made a proposal. I would like to
charge per hour and there will not be a maximum. But it does not fit interests
of some of our faculties. So I am thinking about $6/hr for low yearly use group
and $3000 for high yearly use group.
We may be asked to set up a single charge system for all of our NMR instruments.
What is your charge system? What kind of charge system you think it will work
here?
